1. Introduction and Purpose
Welcome to GuardioBot's Community Guidelines. These guidelines establish the standards of conduct and content we expect from all communities, servers, and users that utilize GuardioBot (the "Service").
GuardioBot is operated as an individual project. "GuardioBot Technologies" is a trade name used to describe the Service and does not constitute a legal business entity.
Our Mission: To provide safe, welcoming, and respectful online communities where all members can interact positively and constructively.
By using GuardioBot, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Privacy Policy. Communities that fail to uphold these guidelines may lose access to the Service.
IMPORTANT: THESE GUIDELINES APPLY TO ALL SERVERS, EXPERIENCES, AND COMMUNITIES THAT USE GUARDIOBOT. SERVER ADMINISTRATORS AND COMMUNITY OWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THEIR COMMUNITIES COMPLY WITH THESE STANDARDS.
2. Core Principles
Our Community Guidelines are built on the following core principles:
- Safety First: The safety and well-being of community members is our top priority
- Respect for All: All members deserve to be treated with dignity and respect
- Legal Compliance: All activities must comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Platform Adherence: Communities must follow Discord and Roblox platform policies
- Transparency: Communities should clearly communicate their rules and expectations
- Accountability: Community leaders are responsible for moderating their spaces
- Inclusivity: Communities should foster welcoming environments for diverse members
3. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following content and conduct are strictly prohibited in all communities using GuardioBot:
3.1 Illegal Activities
You may NOT use GuardioBot or participate in communities that:
- Facilitate Crime: Promote, plan, coordinate, or facilitate any illegal activities including fraud, theft, drug trafficking, human trafficking, or terrorism
- Distribute Illegal Content: Share, trade, or distribute illegal materials such as stolen data, counterfeit goods, or controlled substances
- Violate Intellectual Property: Engage in large-scale piracy or distribution of copyrighted materials without authorization
- Enable Hacking: Coordinate hacking, unauthorized access, or distribution of malicious software
- Launder Money: Use the community for money laundering or other financial crimes
- Violate Export Controls: Violate export control laws or sanctions regulations
GUARDIOBOT WILL IMMEDIATELY TERMINATE SERVICE TO ANY COMMUNITY ENGAGED IN ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AND WILL COOPERATE FULLY WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT INVESTIGATIONS.
3.2 Violence and Threats
You may NOT:
- Threaten Violence: Make credible threats of violence against any individual, group, or organization
- Incite Violence: Encourage or glorify violence, terrorism, or violent extremism
- Plan Attacks: Coordinate or plan physical attacks, mass violence, or terrorism
- Share Violent Content: Share excessively graphic or gratuitous violent content, including gore, torture, or cruelty
- Glorify Mass Violence: Celebrate, praise, or glorify mass shootings, terrorist attacks, or other violent events
- Promote Dangerous Organizations: Promote or support terrorist organizations or violent extremist groups
3.3 Hate Speech and Discrimination
You may NOT:
- Promote Hatred: Promote hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, disability, age, or serious disease
- Use Hate Symbols: Display hate symbols, including Nazi imagery, white supremacist symbols, or other symbols associated with hate groups
- Engage in Hate Speech: Use slurs, epithets, or derogatory language targeting protected characteristics
- Deny Atrocities: Deny or minimize well-documented historical atrocities, including the Holocaust or slavery
- Promote Segregation: Advocate for segregation or exclusion based on protected characteristics
- Coordinate Hate: Organize hate groups or coordinate hate-based harassment campaigns
3.4 Child Safety
GuardioBot has zero tolerance for content or behavior that endangers children:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Creating, distributing, or possessing any sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement
- Child Exploitation: Sexualizing, grooming, exploiting, or endangering children in any way
- Age-Inappropriate Content: Exposing minors to sexual, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content
- Solicitation: Soliciting sexual content or contact from minors
- Predatory Behavior: Engaging in predatory behavior toward minors
IF YOU ENCOUNTER CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIAL, DO NOT SHARE, DOWNLOAD, OR FORWARD IT. IMMEDIATELY REPORT IT TO NCMEC AT WWW.CYBERTIPLINE.ORG AND LAW ENFORCEMENT.
3.5 Harassment and Bullying
You may NOT:
- Harass Others: Engage in sustained, targeted harassment or intimidation of individuals
- Doxx Individuals: Share private personal information without consent, including addresses, phone numbers, financial information, or identifying documents
- Coordinate Raids: Organize raids, brigading, or coordinated harassment campaigns
- Impersonate: Impersonate others to deceive, harass, or defame
- Stalk: Engage in stalking, unwanted contact, or monitoring of individuals
- Shame or Humiliate: Publicly shame, humiliate, or degrade individuals
3.6 Sexual Content
Communities must:
- Mark NSFW Content: Clearly mark and age-gate sexually explicit content in accordance with platform policies
- Prohibit Minors: Exclude minors from communities or channels containing adult sexual content
- No Non-Consensual Content: Never share non-consensual intimate imagery or "revenge porn"
- No Solicitation: Not facilitate prostitution or sex trafficking
- Respect Platform Rules: Follow Discord and Roblox policies on sexual content (Roblox prohibits all sexual content)
3.7 Self-Harm and Suicide
You may NOT:
- Encourage Self-Harm: Encourage, promote, or glorify self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- Share Graphic Content: Share graphic images or descriptions of self-harm
- Coordinate Suicide Pacts: Coordinate or encourage suicide pacts or challenges

3.8 Misinformation
Communities should not:
- Health Misinformation: Spread dangerous health misinformation that could cause serious physical harm
- Election Interference: Spread misinformation designed to suppress voting or undermine democratic processes
- Manipulated Media: Share deepfakes or manipulated media designed to deceive and cause harm
4. Community Behavior Standards
4.1 Respect and Civility
Community members should:
- Treat others with respect, kindness, and empathy
- Engage in constructive, good-faith discussions
- Respect differing opinions and perspectives
- Avoid personal attacks, insults, or inflammatory language
- Follow community-specific rules and norms
- Report violations rather than engaging in retaliation
4.2 Privacy and Personal Information
Respect others' privacy by:
- Not sharing others' personal information without consent
- Not screenshotting or sharing private conversations publicly
- Not tracking, monitoring, or surveilling others without consent
- Respecting requests to remove personal information
- Following applicable privacy laws and platform policies
4.3 Spam and Manipulation
Do not engage in:
- Spam: Posting repetitive, unsolicited, or irrelevant content
- Scams: Running scams, phishing attempts, or fraudulent schemes
- Manipulation: Artificially boosting engagement or metrics
- Advertising: Excessive self-promotion or unsolicited advertising
- Malware: Sharing malicious links, files, or software
4.4 Authenticity
Be authentic by:
- Not creating fake accounts or personas to deceive others
- Not impersonating individuals, organizations, or brands
- Being transparent about affiliations and sponsored content
- Not engaging in coordinated inauthentic behavior
5. Server and Community Responsibilities
5.1 Administrator Obligations
Server administrators and community owners must:
- Establish Clear Rules: Create and communicate clear community rules that comply with these guidelines
- Moderate Actively: Actively moderate content and enforce community standards
- Respond to Reports: Address violations and user reports promptly
- Cooperate with Investigations: Cooperate with investigations into serious violations
- Maintain Safe Environment: Take reasonable steps to maintain a safe and welcoming community
- Configure GuardioBot Properly: Properly configure moderation settings and regularly review their effectiveness
5.2 Moderation Requirements
Communities must:
- Have active moderation to enforce community standards
- Address violations within a reasonable timeframe
- Maintain logs of moderation actions for accountability
- Provide clear processes for appeals and complaints
- Not abuse moderation powers or act arbitrarily
- Ensure moderators understand and follow these guidelines
5.3 Community Standards
Communities should:
- Foster inclusive and welcoming environments
- Clearly communicate expectations to members
- Provide resources for mental health and crisis support
- Educate members about safe online behavior
- Regularly review and update community rules
- Celebrate positive contributions and behavior
6. Platform Compliance
6.1 Discord Guidelines
Communities on Discord must comply with:

Key Discord requirements include:
- No servers primarily dedicated to NSFW content
- Age-gating of adult content
- No servers that facilitate illegal activity
- Compliance with Discord's approach to harmful misinformation
6.2 Roblox Standards
Communities on Roblox must comply with:

Key Roblox requirements include:
- No romantic or sexual content
- Child-appropriate content and behavior
- No real-world gambling or trading of real money

7. Enforcement and Consequences
7.1 Violation Detection
We may detect violations through:
- User reports and complaints
- Automated detection systems
- Platform reports (Discord, Roblox)
- Law enforcement requests
- Routine audits and reviews
7.2 Actions We May Take
Depending on the severity of the violation, we may:
- Issue Warnings: Provide formal warnings to community administrators
- Require Changes: Require communities to make specific changes or remove content
- Restrict Features: Temporarily restrict access to certain features
- Suspend Service: Temporarily suspend GuardioBot service to the community
- Terminate Service: Permanently terminate GuardioBot service and ban the community
- Report to Platforms: Report violations to Discord, Roblox, or other platforms
- Report to Authorities: Report illegal activity to law enforcement
SERIOUS VIOLATIONS SUCH AS ILLEGAL ACTIVITY, CHILD EXPLOITATION, CREDIBLE THREATS OF VIOLENCE, OR COORDINATED HARASSMENT WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE PERMANENT TERMINATION AND REPORTING TO APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES.
7.3 Appeals Process
If your community's access has been restricted or terminated:
- You may submit an appeal to appeals@guardiobot.org
- Include your server ID, a detailed explanation, and evidence supporting your appeal
- We will review appeals within 7-14 business days
- Our decision on appeals is final
- Appeals are not available for serious violations involving illegal activity or child safety
8. Liability and Responsibility
GUARDIOBOT IS A TOOL TO ASSIST WITH MODERATION. COMMUNITY ADMINISTRATORS AND OWNERS REMAIN SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTENT, CONDUCT, AND SAFETY OF THEIR COMMUNITIES.
Important Disclaimers:
- No Liability for User Content: GuardioBot is not responsible for user-generated content or behavior within communities
- No Guarantee of Safety: While GuardioBot provides moderation tools, we cannot guarantee that all violations will be detected or prevented
- Administrator Responsibility: Community administrators are responsible for configuring, monitoring, and managing their moderation settings
- Platform Compliance: Communities must independently ensure compliance with Discord and Roblox policies
- Legal Obligations: Community administrators are responsible for complying with all applicable laws
- Third-Party Actions: We are not responsible for actions taken by Discord, Roblox, or law enforcement against communities
By using GuardioBot, you acknowledge that:
- You are solely responsible for moderating your community
- GuardioBot is an assistance tool, not a replacement for human moderation
- You bear all legal liability for content and conduct in your community
- You will indemnify and hold GuardioBot harmless for any claims arising from your community

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. However, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or response times.
10. Changes to These Guidelines
We reserve the right to modify these Community Guidelines at any time. Changes will be communicated through:
- Posting updated guidelines on our website with a new "Last Updated" date
- Notifications through GuardioBot service
- Email to community administrators (if contact information is available)
- Discord announcements
Your continued use of GuardioBot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines. If you do not agree with the changes, you must discontinue use of the Service.
